These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of services provided by Model Techie (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By engaging our website support and website maintenance services, you (“Client,” “you,” or “your”) agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms.
1. Scope of Services
Model Techie provides professional website support plans, WordPress maintenance, Shopify support services, and website security solutions to businesses in the UK, USA, and internationally. Services include but are not limited to:

Ongoing website monitoring and updates

Security checks and malware protection

Plugin, theme, and platform updates

Backup management
-
Technical support and troubleshooting
Any services outside the agreed plan will be subject to additional fees, which will be communicated in advance.
2. Service Usage

Our services are intended solely for business use.

Clients must provide accurate account credentials, access permissions, and relevant information required for the delivery of services.

Clients agree not to misuse our services for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes.
3. Payment Terms

All website support and maintenance services are offered on a monthly subscription basis (“Maintenance Plans”).

Payments are due in advance of each billing cycle.

Late or failed payments may result in suspension of services until the account is brought current.

Prices are subject to change with prior written notice.
4. Client Responsibilities
To ensure effective delivery of our services, Clients must:

Provide timely access to their website, hosting, and third-party accounts.

Inform us of any major changes, redesigns, or third-party work being carried out on the website.

Maintain appropriate backups unless included in their Maintenance Plan.

Acknowledge that some technical issues may be beyond our control (e.g., third-party hosting outages).
5. Limitations of Liability

Model Techie will take reasonable measures to provide reliable website support, WordPress maintenance, Shopify support, and website security services.

However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free websites, or complete immunity from cyber threats.

We shall not be held liable for:

Loss of revenue, profits, or business opportunities

Third-party service failures (hosting providers, plugin developers, etc.)

Damages arising from unauthorized access due to factors outside our control

Our maximum liability under these Terms shall not exceed the total fees paid by the Client in the preceding three (3) months.
6. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights related to your website, content, and branding remain the property of the Client.

Any tools, scripts, or proprietary processes developed by Model Techie in the course of providing services remain the sole intellectual property of the Company.

Clients may not copy, resell, or distribute our proprietary processes or service methodologies without prior written consent.
7. Termination of Services

Either party may terminate services with 30 days’ written notice.

Termination does not relieve the Client of outstanding payment obligations.

Model Techie reserves the right to suspend or terminate services immediately in cases of non-payment, misuse of services, or breach of these Terms.
8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales for UK-based Clients, and the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, for US-based Clients.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the applicable region.
9. Amendments
Model Techie reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Clients will be notified of significant changes in advance. Continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
